MY

TWISTED

LIFE

Stories from the edge. Told with heart. No filters, no fluff.

“The mic captures the voice. The lens captures the truth behind it.”

This is where My Twisted Life goes visual. Scroll down. These photos don’t just document—they witness.

40

We spend so much time chasing youth, we forget the gold is in the years that come after 40.
This project is my personal love letter to survival, growth, and letting go of the polished version of ourselves. Each portrait is paired with one honest quote from the subject. Some are funny. Some break you. All are worth your time.

How to Get Featured in 40 Over 40

1

Be over 40

That’s it. No forms, no algorithms. Just 40+ years of surviving life, BS, and bad trends.

2

Be COOL

but not the Instagram kind.

“Left a toxic job and didn’t look back” cool.
“Got a neck tattoo at 46” cool.
“Knows the name of their mechanic and their barista” cool.

3

Let me take your photo

Tell me something honest. You don’t even have to smile (unless you want to)

Meet the 40. Each one has lived a hell of a chapter—and they let me show their page.

Coverage

Forget the press pit. I shoot what’s happening behind the curtain.
This section is for the loud, sweaty, tattoo-covered, and truth-soaked energy that festivals and street events bring. You’ll find performers, misfits, friends of friends, and that one guy who asked me to “make him look cool” before biting into a funnel cake.

Below: Glimpses from the road, from backstage, and from wherever the weirdness was happening.
